    initial position

The concept envisages building a child-friendly library that is specially tailored to the needs and learning level of children in elementary school. The library will offer a variety of books, learning materials and interactive resources to promote reading, writing and comprehension. We make sure that as many resources as possible are available in the local language. The library also includes a computer for administrative work and a projector that enables audio-visual learning.

The library will also offer regular activities and events, such as storytelling sessions, creative writing workshops and interactive study groups. These are designed to stimulate children's interest in reading and learning and provide them with a positive learning environment.

In addition, the existing computer room will be equipped with a server with e-learning software to enable access to e-learning platforms and digital learning resources. Pupils can use online courses, interactive learning games and multimedia materials in a playful way to further develop their knowledge and skills in various subjects. The learning goals can be set individually according to the level and needs of the students. The content is age-appropriate and tailored to the Nepalese curriculum and is made available in offline mode via a server. Access to the Internet is therefore not required. The server is updated periodically by our partner organization OLE.

The concept of a new library and e-learning for children in Nepal aims to promote reading, writing and comprehension in children, expand their learning opportunities and provide them with a solid foundation for their education. The project contributes to strengthening their cognitive abilities, their self-confidence and their enthusiasm for learning and opening up better future opportunities for the students.
