New BOOKS FOR CHANGE library in Nepal - Palau Bangau Village

The local village community is informed and involved in the planning process.

The mothers are always part of it. This is not a matter of course in patriarchal communities, but it is always a prerequisite for starting a project.

Local artisans from the village community at work. Wherever and whenever possible, we hire local specialists for fair and market-based remuneration.

With the help of Jenny and Bijendra, our two artists from Nepal, the library will be designed according to the theme.

Toya Gurung is a well-known writer and poet from Nepal.

The big day has come. The library will now be officially opened in the presence of all students, teachers and parents.
