  • Further training for committed teachers

    Initial situation

In the Dang region of western Nepal, we are strengthening teachers' pedagogical practice through targeted training. Our program is aimed at 30 dedicated teachers from two schools and their surrounding communities. The focus is on the use of innovative teaching methods and modern e-learning technologies. Participants learn how to effectively use digital tools in their classrooms – for a contemporary, interactive, and sustainable educational approach.

In Kathmandu, we also offer a diverse professional development program for teachers from various districts across the country. The goal is to make reading promotion a lively activity and integrate creative teaching concepts into everyday school life. Particular emphasis is placed on the use of reading activities in school libraries. This targeted support not only improves reading and writing skills but also awakens and strengthens the joy of reading.

Using holistic, practical methods, we encourage participants to rediscover their role as inspiring learning facilitators. They develop their own creative approaches to create a motivating and dynamic learning environment—one in which children can not only acquire knowledge, but also think critically, learn with joy, and develop their creativity.
